Situated in the northern portion of the city and encompassing two additional landmarks - Fort Mason and the Presidio - the Golden Gate Bridge has been crossed by almost two billion cars and hosts more than 10 million annual visitors.
Hours -The Golden Gate Bridge is open to autos and bicyclists 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Pedestrians are allowed on the bridge daily from 5am-6:30pm during Pacific Standard Time and from 5am-9pm during Daylight Savings Time. The Bridge Pavilion visitor center is open daily, 9am-6pm.
Prices -Bridge toll for autos is $6. Cyclists and pedestrians enter free.
