It is the perfect place for scratch golfers and weekend hacks alike. The course has been called “The Poor Man’s Pebble Beach,” and this is in no way a bad thing. Throughout the course, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean as well as the surrounding mountains. Some of the most challenging holes wrap around Laguna Salada, a natural lake in the park. Not only is course beautiful, but it also has a rich history since it was designed by Alister MacKenzie who also helped create Augusta National. Additionally, Golfweek Magazine named the course one of America’s 50 Greatest Municipal Courses. So be sure to pack your clubs because this is one golfing experience that you will not want to miss.
